In this film Agent Lucas has been sent by his
grand-mother to do some shopping at the market. He visits the
fishmonger, the butcher, the cheese seller, the fruit and
vegetable seller and even buys some snails... despite not having
been asked by his grand-mother.
Link with the curriculum: The language used in this film is relatively
complicated so it is more for year six and over. However, it is possible to still show it to the younger
age group by narrowing down the understanding 'expectations'.
For instance, can
the children guess how one says "that's it" in French for
example? Or even just concentrate on observing the different
stalls.
