In this DVD, bilingual
'double agent' Lucas, takes us along
on his various missions. Each mission covers a particular aspect of life
in France. You can find more information on each films as
well as short previews by clicking on the left hand missions
titles.
Each mission comes in three
versions each having a specific educational purpose:
1) The 'standard' version.
 |
In this version the
film freezes on frames and displays the relevant French
words (vis. vocab) |
2) The 'speech bubble' version.
 |
In this version
anything spoken in French is also showed in a speech
bubble allowing the student to read as well as hear what
is being said. |
3) The question mark version.
 |
In this version the 'vocab' words have been
replaced by question mark prompts that the teacher can
use in class. This
version is particularly useful as a confirmation
of vocabulary progress. |
4) Extra-features
 |
In addition to the above, there are colour coded ‘vocab’
compilations (for gender recognition) for each film.
These ‘vocab’ tutorials revise key words used in the
film as well as covering other words relevant in the
broader context of the film. |
